Looks like he's lost the position of the richest man in the world, and the lucky one to be the richest one is Ingvar Kamprad. And "who the hell is this guy", you might be wondering... Well, he's the owner of the IKEA cheap furniture chain. Apparently, he has a fortune of 53 billion dolars while Gates has "only" 47 billion. If I were Gates, I would do something about it at once!!

In case you were not sure that the Crap-o-lympics are just a big advertising venue, take a look at the following articles: Games' eagle-eyed sponsor police, In Greece, an Inside Track for Some, No Pepsi and only the Golden Arches at the Olympics. The Olympics, which should be a symbol of freedom represented by sports and with people from all over the world, have become an event where people are allowed to choose the food the like as long as it's McDonald's, drink the beverage the like the most as long as it's Coke and wear the clothes they like as long as it's Adidas. We went yesterday to the forest that can be seen literally accross our place (I guess that's one of the good things of Finland: you can find forest anywhere in the city!) We picked up some mushrooms, found berries (just a few

Thanks to the awesome work by Michael from plogworld.de, the 6.2004 issue of German edition of the well-know PHP-Magazine includes an article written by me and translated by Michael based on our beloved pLog, the software powering this humble web site
The article is 10 pages long even though we were only requested to write about 4 but I started to write and I couldn't just stop The article describes how to build your very own but simple blogging tool from scratch and I think we did a very good work! Now I am looking forward to receiving my copy of the article Even though I won't be able to understand anything, it will be nice to look at all those diagrams and code snippets printed in a nice magazine. I am not sure if any of you can read German (neither can I!) but if you can, give it a try and support our project!!
