We had to work until late, so we didnt have too much time to visit any of the shopping malls at Orchard Road (Isetan, Takashimaya) Then we went to Bar None at the basement of the Marriot where we had some (expensive) local Tiger beer and listened to some live music.

A quick summary of my first day here: overview of the business center of the city, some late celebration of the Chinese new year in Chinatown (I guess), view of the hotel pool on floor 8, and the oyster omelette that I had today for lunch.
