More pLog praise (but only in Spanish!)

Thanks to the guys at blog-cool.com and blografias.com, their pLog-powered service has been reviewed at Bicubic (I have to admit that I didn't know about this blog 
) and the outcome is very much positive 
The reviewer has some feedback about our "dashboard" screen but luckily that's something that we can quickly fix! I'm also very happy that this is the only negative point that he found in the service.
Congratulations to the blog-cool.com guys and our most sincere thanks for helping promoting the project amongst the Spanish-speaking community!
Sometimes, there is no privacy in Finland

Last weekend I found out that if you send a message like this:
VERO NAME SURNAME CITY
To number 16400 (Zed's service number I think), you can get anybody's tax information from year 2003. Or in other words, your own private tax information is available to anyone knowing your name, city and willing to spend a bit over a Euro for the SMS. No wonder talking about salaries here in Finland is considered a taboo topic... anybody's salary information is only one SMS away! Considering how concerned people here are about privacy, I am surprised that this service even exists
I am not too happy about this. I need to find out whether I can remove my information from this service. I would have hoped that this was an "opt-in" service instead of an "opt-out" one.
PS: Yes, I've already used to find out the salaries of some of my colleagues... 
Pure CSS image maps

Today I needed to create a simple image map but the image was being placed on the page via CSS and not via an <img ...> tag, so I had to look for a solution that used only CSS. Here you have it: Create a reactive zone (image map) with CSS, which apparently is a simplification of this article from A List Apart.

How about listing pLog in the Spanish edition of the wikipedia, for the word "weblog"?

Just preordered my copy of OS X 10.4 Tiger, I can't wait until the 29th!!
If interested, check out the list of new features available in Tiger. I'm specially excited about Spotlight, I recently installed Google's Desktop search in my Windows work machine and it's become an invaluable tool... I can only hope for Spotlight to be better!
