Ferrari F2004Ferrari's new red car, the F2004, was unvelied today in Maranello. Lighter, faster, with a renewed engine and the latest set of tires, we all hope that this new car will give us once more many glorious victories and another world championship!! It's been even touted by Ross Brown as the best Ferrari they've ever built so this looks very good.

I just hope that Fernando Alonso makes Ferrari sweat a little bit more this year to win the championship, and perhaps by 2005 we can have a Spanish formula-1 champion :)

Starsky & Hutch: The movie

Looks like Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller will be together again in the same movie: Starsky & Hutch. By the looks of the trailer, looks like as "good" as their latests appearances together in Zoolander and Meet the parents (though the second one was still funny, sometimes)
I wonder what's the next movie remake in the line in Hollywood...

Nit-Pickers Guide to Deviations in Jackson's LotR

Now that I have just started to read the LoTR trilogy, this is somewhat interesting even though as someone who has seen the movies first and now is reading the books they are all very obvious: The Lord of the Rings: A Nit-Pickers Guide to Deviations Between the Books and the Films. I've already noticed that only by reading the prologue you already get to know about things which are never clearly told (or even untold!) in the movie, let alone finishing the whole trilogy!

Privacy

Two quite scary articles: Government agency exposes day-care data, where data about hundreds of children was posted in the net carelessly and Online search engines lift cover of privacy where this time, it's careless users who are leaving private data in web servers which will be "spidered" with Google. Obviously, that data can be found: info about GoogleDorks and the GoogleDork in person.

Star Wars saga coming to DVD!

25/12/2004 20:29 | Categories: Movies | 0 Comments

It's about time this happened! According to this article, a boxed edition of the Star Wars saga, including 4 DVDs with Episoses IV, V and VI and an additional disc full with extras will be released the 21st of September in US and Canada, later in the rest of the world. Can't wait for it :) The movies have been remastered by THX and Dolby Surround 5.1 sound has been added.

The only thing I can't understand is that if in a few years a new video standard appears, will they also release Star Wars in that format? I have the special remastered edition with added scenes of Star Wars that was released some years ago in VHS, and now I have to buy (I have=I will :P) buy this one because it will apparently look and sound better... But, haven't the big studios squeezed some sagas, trilogies, and movies too much? In other words, aren't they squeezing consumers too much??

One would say that kites are harmless...

...but apparently that's not true in Pakistan: Seven dead at kite-flying festival. Damn, that was a disaster of a festival!!
