It's about time, I was already tired of the old one
This one is inspired on the new design of the new version of pLog's admin interface but that's ok, my designs are never originally mine I've already managed to make it validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional which is quite an important thing, specially beacause many people stop by my site to take a look at the whole pLog thingie and they usually go to the
I've also integrated some of my old pages in the blog and they are now all using the same look... Plus, the blog is now using gravatar-enabled. A gravatar is nothing more than the little icon that appears on the left of your name when you leave a comment. The only thing you need to do is sign up at gravatar.com and wait until the gravatar is rated. Once everything's ready, do not forget to leave your email address when posting a comment. The email address will never be shown but it will be used to fetch your gravatar. Obviously anybody could still impersonate you, me or anyone but at least the impersonation will now have a bit more style
The blog should be more or less working except the search feature on the left. It's kind of broken but I haven't got time now to fix it. Don't worry, it will be back soon! And let me know if you find any other problem... (PS: the only thing I haven't done is to check the new layout in IE but who cares anyway, looks great in Firefox and Safari!

My first bug report to Apple!

I'm such a happy camper in the OSX field that I'm even helping by reporting bugs to Apple... I happened to notice that coloured symlinks where being shown without a colour in the "open file" and "save as dialogs" in OSX while the Finder was showing them just fine. It's probably easier to take a look at the screenshot that I attached
Let's see if Apple acknowledges this as a bug... I know it's a fairly small one but it's a bug nevertheless!

I should know better about MySQL's doings with date fields... I run a little update in the database (permalinks were not working very well) and MySQL decided to update the date of all my posts to the 25th of December so everything's really messed up at the moment. But I did fix the problem with the permalinks and the images!Anyway, in the meantime I will go and play with my Christmas present:

I found this link this morning, from a page called The Straight Dope. Looks like people make strange questions and somebody there spends some time finding answers... Sometimes the questions are quite bizarre ("Does passionate kissing cause your chewing gum to disintegrate?") but sometimes they're quite interesting ("What does OK stand for?" or "What is dČj‡ v??")
