A "laskiaispulla" is a traiditional Finnish sort of bun that kids eat during their skiing holidays in February. They've got this roundish shape and they're filled with whipped cream and the most important thing: "mantellimassa" (some sort of marzipan) According to the dictionary, the name comes from "laskiaistiistai" which in English means Shrove Tuesday and in Spanish, "Martes de Carnaval"

I am not a kid anymore but I love these things...:) It's not February yet and I'm already eating them. In fact, I went to the supermarket and when I saw the packages there, I couldn't resist :)
