Paul McCartney in Helsinki, 17th of June 2004

I'm not a big fan of Paul McCartney of even The Beatles, though they have a few nice songs but we don't get so many big stars in Helsinki very often so we decided that it could be a good idea to go (though Metallica was here a few weeks ago and I didn't goIt was quite a nice concert although it rained for a while in the beginning...
We had the cheapest tickets (69Ä a piece) so we didn't have seats or anything and basically spent over 3 hours (we had to wait for a while until the concert started) but I think it was worth it. The average age was like 35 or 40, or even more, don't know
The beginning of the concert was a bif strange because there was a dj who started to play quite nice house and techno song, while some nice girls and some dancers where jumping and dancing on the stage.
It would have been great for an electronic festival but I don't think it was the kind of music people there were looking for... What they were basically trying to do was to cheer everybody up and get them ready for the concert, but I don't think they succeeded (this is Finland after all
The concert was nice. McCartney tried to sing some songs from his post-beatles era but I didn't know any of them (and many of the people who were there neither) but when he started to sing old songs from the Beatles everybody got happier and started to sing along
The concert finished at around 23:30, roughly 2 hours later after it started and everybody went home happy

I'm suprised! Before today, I thought you were the house music king, the funky god, but now, since I watched that you were in a Paul McCartney Concert, my opinion have changed.... :(...
I'm waiting for you on August, and our friends and I will show you again the right way!!! the house music way!! Pacha's Way, Atlantida's Way, Discotheque's way, and all the others house discotheques that I've never seen yet!!
Undertstand me! is for your goodness :D
PD: I'm happy saw your joy.
...is going to see some music live. I mean, we don't get many big names up here in the north so I thought it was a good chance. I also regret quite a lot that I missed the Metallica concert, and they're not very electronic either, are they? :)
.. in very wasteful things like metallica or Paul. You're in Finland, the born place of Jori Hulkkonen, go to everyplace where he go, and don't spend your money any time again.
HAPPY SAINT JOHN. TO YEAR, NOT GO TO DE ATLANTIDA IS CHOLOLANDIA.
