Apple's WWDC 2004 (World Wide Developers Conference) started yesterday in San Francisco and the most awaited event was Steve Job's keynote. Of course, Mr. Jobs couldn't be bothered to dress up (or even shave!) for the occasion and he was wearing again his typical "keynote-style" black t-shirt and trainers :)

Anyway, he spoke a little bit about the iPod, BMW (iPod Your BMW!) But what everybody was waiting for was to the first introduction to the new version of OS X: 10.4 codename Tiger.
I can't wait to have it :) Spotlight (a fast searching mechanism, which is capable of indexing documents, images, videos and sound files), integration of an RSS reader in Safari, Dashboard, or little widgets that pop-up on your desktop when pressing the hotkey, CoreImage, which is a set of almost real-time graphical transformations done in the GPU. And many more! The only bad thing about Tiger is that it's not coming out until 1st half 2005... Persons who registered as developers for WWDC 2004 were handed out a DVD with the version of Tiger that was shown on the stage by Steve Jobs and an additional disk with the Tiger SDK so I don't think it will take long before we start seeing copies in the net... Cool :)

And speaking of cool, take a look at the following four big ads that could be seen in the WWDC. I love them :)

God, I'm becoming such an Apple fanboy!!! ;)
